If they seem very unwell, are getting worse or you think there's something seriously wrong, call 999.
Do not delay getting help if you're worried. Trust your instincts.

People with cough or fever should self-isolate for 7 days from the onset of symptoms.
This applies to symptoms of recent onset, meaning within the last 7 days.
You can return to work after 7 days if you're improving but do not need to be symptom free.
You should contact your GP if you're not improving after 7 days.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. From 16/3/20 as per government advice if someone in your household has symptoms you should all self isolate for a period of 14 days.
